Analyze transfer case product designs for best method of manufacture. Propose and evaluate the processes for equipment in transfer case area. Directs the design, development and/or improvement of manufacturing processess for transfer case area. Provides technical support for specific plant operations. Provides technical support for transfer case product launches. Regular contract with others outside the group. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering required. Minimum 10 years experience processing transfer cases required. Knowledge of tooling and manufacturing processes required. High level of analytical ability where probelms are unusual and difficult required. Strong oral and written communication skills required. Knowledge of computer applications: Microsoft Office required. High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others required.
